The vineyards cover 35 hectares (approx. 86 acres) of which 30 hectares are currently planted with vines. Wine is produced from the following grape varieties growing in well-exposed situations: Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Chardonnay.

The vineyards are situated around the château at an altitude of 280 - 300 m above sea level.

The chalky, clay soils have a considerable stone content that aids drainage and serves to store warmth.

Approx. 5,000 vines have been planted per hectare and we now plant 6,000 vines on each hectare.
Consistently reducing the yield leads to fuller, more concentrated musts, which means a yield of only 20 hectolitres per hectare for premium wines and 30 hectolitres per hectare for secondary wines.
The grapes are carefully hand-picked in order to ensure that only the highest quality grapes reach the winery.
In harmony with nature, we produce authentic wines reflecting the characteristics of the Frausseilles terroir and remain committed to the inseparable unity of "soil-climate-grape variety".
